Durian stall was established 2009

Uncle Yoo(Foo) would hold Auntie Lim’s hand — rough and full of tiny thorn scars — and say softly, “We didn’t just build a stall, Lim. We built a little happiness by the roadside.”
August 2009

First product launch

“People still love real kampung taste,” Uncle Yoo(Foo) would say as he tied the gunny sacks. Auntie Lim nodded, even though their earnings were modest. While selling those kampung durians, they quietly saved every sen. With the money, they began planting new trees — one or two every year. First came Musang King (D197). Then Red Prawn (D175). Later, the special D24 and their pride, the wild D214 that would become Tupai King. The young trees looked tiny and weak next to the old kampung giants, but Uncle Yoo(Foo) and Auntie Lim cared for them like their own children.

Expansion milestone

“Said Uncle Yoo(Foo), this year I have a big target. I want to serve 10,000 customers. Not just people who drive by our stall, but durian lovers from all over Malaysia, Singapore, and even overseas.”

Future vision

“From Our Farm to Your Table” became their proud new slogan. Some days were exhausting. They packed durians late into the night, replied to endless messages, and still woke up at dawn to welcome walk-in customers at the stall. Yet every time they received a photo from a happy customer — a family in Kuala Lumpur beaming over their Tupai King, a Singaporean raving about the Red Prawn, or an overseas Malaysian tearing up at the taste of authentic kampung durian — all the tiredness melted away. Driven by passion, they continued to innovate and serve their growing community with the freshest, premium durians straight from the farm.
